Wood CNC Operator

Wood CNC Operator Job Description:

  • Studies drawings & specifications to determine setup & tooling requirements.
  • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
  • Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed and depth of cut, according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required.
  • Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.

Wood CNC Operator Job Requirements:

  • CNC experience preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Must possess strong basic math skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Quality Assurance Inspector

Quality Technician Job Descriptions:

  • Performs incoming, first piece, in-process, finished goods, receiving and outside process inspection per approved drawings, control plans, and specifications.
  • Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and gaging equipment including comparators, micrometers, calipers, hard gages, GO/NO GO gages, CMM, profilometer, Roncom, MicroVu and Oasis.
  • Maintains accurate inspection records and certificates per Quality Management System requirements.
  • Perform part layout for PPAP, FAI/ISIR and other customer requests
  • Responsible for the detection of defective material and initiation of defective material reports.  Assists in the quarantine of defective material.

Quality Technician Requirements:

  • Knowledge of a variety of precision measuring instruments and gaging equipment including comparators, micrometers, calipers, and various hard gages.
  • Mechanically and mathematically adept.
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 35 lbs periodically from floor to table height
  • Must be quality conscious and in continual pursuit of improvement.
  • Possess data entry and computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications

Maintenance Technician Job Description:

  • Effectively and safely operate and maintain manufacturing equipment with a focus on plant safety, quality, production and cost goals
  • Support, troubleshoot and maintain automated production and test equipment

This Accounting position will perform a variety of administrative accounting functions to  support the Finance department.

  • Accounts Payable
    • Maintain and update the vendor file.
    • Post vendor invoices into ERP system for payment.
    • Ensure that invoices received agree with purchase orders and receiving reports prior to payment. Resolve discrepancies with appropriate teams in a timely manner.
    • Statement Reviews – Ensure all data between vendors and ERP are aligned.
    • Process monthly sales / use tax return
    • Issue sales tax exemption forms and credit reference letters to vendors as necessary.
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Ensure accurate billing
    • Monitor AR records and perform follow-up with customers to drive timely payments
    • Resolve any account / billing discrepancies in a timely manner
    • Participate in periodic aging reviews with senior management
    • Assist in data collection and analysis required for the cash flow forecast
  • General Ledger / Accounting close cycle
    • Assist with month end accounting close process including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting as needed.
  • Costing
    • Assist in collection and analysis of data required for product costing

Accountant Job Requirements: 

  • Knowledge of manufacturing accounting
  • Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with and ERP system.

  • Develop, maintain, execute and improve Quality Management System, including Document Control
