Seasonal Receptionist/General Office

Receptionist/General Office Job Description:

  • Candidate will answer and transfer a multi-line phone system.
  • Collect, sort, copy and file mail and paperwork.
  • Schedule client appointments.
  • Provide general administrative support to a busy accounting office.

Receptionist/General Office Position Requirements:

  • Candidate MUST have worked in an office environment and be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Above average organizational and verbal communication skills required.
  • Preference given to candidates with accounting/bookkeeping experience that will return each accounting season.

This temporary position will begin in January and will grow from 20 hours to over 40 hours by the end of April.  Candidates must be able to work two Saturdays/month, 8 am – noon.

 

 

 

Manufacturing Material Handler

Material Handler Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers using a forklift.
  • Deliver materials to production lines according to scheduling and workflow requirements.
  • Monitor material levels and ensure production areas remain adequately stocked.
  • Replace empty fuel cylinders by lifting and securing them onto the forklift.
  • Maintain accuracy in material movement using the company’s computer system (training provided; no prior experience required).
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report any safety or maintenance issues.

Material Handler Qualifications:

  • Prior forklift experience preferred; certification a plus (or willingness to become certified).
  • Ability to lift and handle fuel cylinders and other materials as required.
  • Basic computer literacy; willingness to learn company-specific software.

Enjoy a THREE day weekend, hours are 2pm – 12:30 am Monday – Thursday

 

Shipping & Office Support Specialist

Shipping & Office Support Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including boxing, weighing, counting, and completing all shipping instructions and paperwork

  • Process invoicing and maintain accurate records

  • Enter and manage transactions in QuickBooks

  • Handle check deposits and basic financial tasks

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all shipping and office operations

  • Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily workflow

Shipping & Office Support Specialist Qualifications:

  • Experience with UPS Worldship and/or shipping operations preferred

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred but not necessary.

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform general and preventative maintenance on plant equipment such as the air handlers, UF system, solvent still, fork trucks, and floor scrubbers.
  • Repair/modify production machinery.  Fabricate machinery components and replacement parts. Build, repair and install machine guards.  Order repair parts.
  • Make simple electrical installations.  Perform repair on electrical lines and remove obsolete electrical lines.  Perform electrical troubleshooting.
  • Maintain tracking of all maintenance activities, machine downtime, repair hours and repair costs using a database. Provide related routine reports to management.

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:

  • Two years of progressive CNC maintenance experience or an associate degree in CNC machine maintenance, with one year of experience (preferred, not required).
  • Understand mechanical, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic principles and their possible interaction.
  • Able to operate basic tool room equipment, forklifts, and most production equipment.
  • Understanding of Preventative Maintenance
  • Knowledge and ability to work with electricity, and to read schematics.
  • Ability to work on lifts, ladders, and in awkward positions.  Able to lift, manipulate, and position heavy machine components and motors.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, layouts, parts lists, assembly drawings, operating manuals, and troubleshooting instructions

Head Custodian

Head Custodian Job Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee custodial staff scheduling, supervision, training, and evaluations.
  • Maintain facility cleanliness, safety, and routine inspections.
  • Complete basic repairs and coordinate outside vendors when needed.
  • Manage inventory, supply requisitions, bids, quotes, and annual budget requests.
  • Prioritize and process work orders; submit monthly maintenance reports.

Head Custodian Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED; mechanical aptitude; basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repair skills; computer literacy; ability to read, write, and follow English instructions; experience with carpet, gym, and tile floor care; ability to complete digital and written records; previous custodial/maintenance experience preferred.

Head Custodian  Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., work on power lift up to 40 ft., climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach overhead, and use equipment safely. Must tolerate occasional exposure to fumes, chemicals, noise, and perform roof checks/minor roof maintenance. Must maintain effective relationships with staff and students.

Hours are 6 am – 2 pm

Saw Operator

  • Review and interpret written work instructions
  • Operate vertical/horizontal band saws.
  • Use saw to cut test specimens according to prescribed spec or work order.
