Assembly Supervisor Job Description:
- Develop staffing schedules based on customer needs and equipment and personnel availability; this includes being able to adjust in a dynamic environment to accommodate order fill, absences or equipment breakdowns
- Work with a team to achieve production and quality targets
- Coach team members to meet objectives and ensure compliance with work rules and safety policies.
- Support new team members with training and evaluation.
- Perform line audits to proactively identify and address safety, 5S and standard work compliance
Assembly Supervisor Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior leadership & manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to work on an extended work week or weekends.
- Must possess or be able to obtain certification to operate a fork lift.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and familiarity with associated production paperwork.
- Ability work in a manufacturing environment for long periods of time, including walking, bending, sitting, standing and lifting 50 pounds (with assistance).
