Assembly – Part Time

Work either 3:15pm – 8:15pm or 7:00pm – 11:45/12:45.

Assembly Job Duties:

  • Use various machines and hand tools to assemble, test and, finish electrical or mechanical assemblies.
  • Conduct visual examination of products, components and subassemblies for defects.
  • Observe manufacturing equipment during operation to detect machinery malfunctions.
  • Communicate workflow and other key information to oncoming or relief operator at shift overlaps and shift changes to minimize delays.
  • Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Properly identify, label, and process production scrap and or rework produced during the workday.

Assembly Job Requirements:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • No previous manufacturing experience required
  • Basic computer skills, mathematics, reading and writing skills
  • Have good manual dexterity and excellent visual acuity
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 25 pounds

Plastic Injection Mold Technician

Plastic Injection Mold Technician Job Description:

  • Set-up and process all injection molds according to the master process sheet
  • Complete the set-up check sheet and submit first piece to QA
  • Complete the mold pull check sheet and submit final piece to QA and the tool room
  • Troubleshoot presses and equipment
  • Monitor cycle time and efficiencies
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Repair equipment as directed by the Molding Manager
  • Properly store molds after the run
  • Train operators on new jobs

Plastic Inject Mold Technician Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years experience as an Injection Mold Set up Technician
  • Knowledge of molding machine controls and engineering resins
  • Basic writing skills
  • Effective math and communication skills

 

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

The Plastic Injection Mold Machine operator will be expected to produce quality plastic molded components to customer specifications.

Machine Operator Job Description:

  • Read and execute the customer requirements as described in the Operator Instructions, which could include visual measurements and measurements with gages.
  • Inspect molded parts per Operator Instructions, document accordingly on Shop Order.
  • Maintain the quoted cycle time on the molding press.
  • Assemble and properly label cartons and boxes.
  • Package molded parts per the packaging plan

 

Machine Operator Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Effective math and communication skills
  • Ability to use inspection gages, calipers, and hand tools such as clippers and cutting tools.

Shipping and Receiving Lead

Maintenance Technician

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Technician maintains machines and building and grounds by performing preventive and corrective maintenance as directed.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

Electrical
• Ability to safely work with and diagnose electrical circuits from 5-volt DC to 480-volt AC
• Understand motor starters, relays, start/stop circuits, etc.
• Calculate and run clean safe related power to machines, motor, outlets, relays, etc.
• Ability to install power to machines
• Ability to size wire conductors for power requirements
• Plum air, hydraulic and coolant

Mechanical
• Ability to work and diagnose machine repair with little guidance
• Turret rebuild and alignment, Bar feed repair
• Axis bearing and ball screw replacement and alignment
• Make complex fixtures, holders, etc.
• Assist with engineering projects
• Ability to make strong good-looking weld in all positions
• Ability to accurately and safely use engine lathe, Bridgeport mill, drill press, etc.

Hydraulic
• Hydraulic repair
• Make and replace hoses

Pneumatic
• Replace air hoses
• Understand controls
• Pneumatic repair

Building & Grounds
• Perform general maintenance to maintain structures, electrical, heating and cooling systems and plumbing
• Janitorial responsibilities for plant and office area
• Repair forklifts and combi lift to maintain safe operation
• Make shipping pallets and crates
• Operate snow blower, drive a plow truck and operate cat loader
• Box truck repair

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and minimum 2-year technical degree in manufacturing maintenance area or equivalent combination
  • Strong PLC and electrical knowledge
  • Fluent with Fanuc Control
  • General carpentry skills
  • 1-2 years previous manufacturing maintenance background preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pull, push and/or lift up to 70 pounds in a safe manner
  • Read, write and interpret documents and instructions in written, oral, blueprint, diagram and schedule form (English)
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of activities and multi-task
  • Able to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds safely.

Responsible for assembly of component parts for production of track groups and sideframes.  Additionally is responsible for modifying track chains and painting completed track groups and sideframes.

Assembly Job Description:

  1. Identify components and hardware necessary to assemble product
  2. Torque nuts and bolts to print specifications.
  3. Complete paperwork required for job to monitor warranty claims.
  4. Inspect components, chains and rollers.

Assembly Job Requirements:

  1. Basic math skills such as simple calculations and ability to read and understand fractions and decimals.
  2. Must read and write English fluently.
  3. Ability to read blueprints.
  4. Ability to stand and lift parts weighing as much as 50 lbs.
