The Buyer will research, and purchase products required for electronic build manufacturing, general supplies operations, and maintenance.
Buyer Job Description:
- Assist with all purchasing including issuing Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers, gaining approval on purchase requests per company policy, following up on all open POs to ensure on time delivery
- Assists warehouse and operations team in inventory reporting from MRP/ERP system
- Obtains standard materials and services from suppliers at the lowest cost with consideration to quality, reliability, and need. Communicates delivery timelines, quality, and order changes and other related issues to involved parties.
- Detailed daily execution of procurement activities allowing for quick identification and resolution of issues and timely actioning of key activities
Buyer Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field or combination of experience and education relevant to this role
- Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Able to work as a member of a team
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong MRP/ERP knowledge and experience
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize time and workload to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines requiring competing resource
