Machine Operator

Machine Operator Job Description:

  • Study drawings and specifications to determine setup and tooling requirements for wood furniture production.
  • Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed and depth of cut according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls as required.
  • Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required

 

Machine Operator Requirements:

  • CNC experience preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and possess strong basic math skills
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Work schedule is Monday – Wednesday or Tuesday – Thursday  5 am – 6:30 pm., Work 39 hours, get paid for 40. Training is Monday – Thursday.

 

Customer Service

Customer Service Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
  • Enter orders, respond to all customer’s needs, assist with damage claims, returns, order tracking, package tracking, obtain credit references, answer item inquiries, etc.
  • Download orders and upload shipped order information according to customer specifications.
  • Customer Service representative will maintain records on customer contacts, orders, claims and follow up service.
  • Develop sales in a territory through contact with customers through a variety of means: monitoring accounts, developing good customer relationships though service and marketing tools and providing excellent follow up services.
  • Teamwork to serve major accounts in processing orders
  • Work with outside sales people to build more clients and better business.

Customer Service Requirements:

  • Must have prior customer service experience in a distribution, manufacturing or office environment.
  • Customer Service candidates must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook

FULL OR PART TIME AVAILABLE

Part-time is Monday -Friday 9 am – 2 pm

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm and until 2:00 pm on Fridays = 38 hours

 

Shipping Associate

Responsible for all aspects of picking, staging and final preparation/inspection of out-going shipments to customers; receipt, unloading and proper storage of incoming inventory.

Shipping Associate Job Description:

  • Locate, pick, and assemble products on pallets for shipment using forklift, hand truck, as well as manually lifting and placing of individual parts
  • On/Off forklift as required for shifting loads and operating shrink wrap machine
  • Ensure correct storage placement of inventory
  • Pick, stage and load outbound containers with finished product to customers
  • Unload inbound containers, determine the proper place to store product, and accurately maintain inventory locations

Shipping Associate Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other computer programs
  • Basic math, especially addition and subtraction
  • Ability to read English
  • Reach, bend, twist and lift up to 50 pounds several times per hour
  • Climb on and off fork truck as needed for shipping/receiving load preparation
