Cost Estimator

The Cost Estimator will receive inputs from customers or vendors in the form of drawings, models, etc. and estimates the critical processes/cycle times needed to manufacture the part.

Cost Estimator Job Description:

  • Collect and validate all relevant Request for Quote (RFQ) details
  • Review RFQ and part tolerances
  • Contact customer where information is missing or unclear
  • Initiate RFQ’s in Micro Estimating software
  • Manage speeds & feeds used within Micro Estimating
  • Publish open quote lists and ensure all quotes are assigned in a timely manner and moving to on-time completion
  • Communicate with Purchasing team to seek outside vendor quotations when needed
  • Participate in customer discussions on manufacturability or cost reduction
  • Determine the operations, their order, and the cycle times required to complete the part as required using Micro Estimating software
  • Populate Sales Price Calculation form for each Request for Quote
  • Apply appropriate gauging, fixtures, and tooling, based on print tolerances and process

Cost Estimator Job Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree in a relevant field, or 10 years of direct experience in machine cycle time estimation & methods
  • Excellent understanding of GD&T
  • Experience using estimating software, Micro Estimating is preferred
  • Experience with 3D viewing software
  • Strong understanding of data management inputs for estimating software
  • Strong understanding of global manufacturing; machining experience is required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong project management & organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work within deadlines

Truck Upfitter

Truck Upfitter Job Description:

  • Responsible for upfitting and installing of various types of truck bodies, mobile power systems, and other truck equipment to various types of chassis and work vehicles
  • Install electrical components onto trucks, such as lighting, trailer plugs, and brake components Fabricate steel components, weld, and paint, as experience permits
  • Install various mobile power systems (PTO-driven air compressor / generators, PTO-driven hydraulic systems, generators, inverters, etc.

Truck Upfitter Job Requirements:

  • Experience with common automotive shop tools and machines
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Own tools and toolbox required but can start without
  • Able to perform general math skills and read a tape measure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy objects, climb in, out, and under trucks frequently
  • Some Electrical Upfitting experience is a plus.

Manufacturing Quality Lab

Manufacturing Quality Lab Job Description:

  • The primary function is to determine mixed compound acceptance based on analytical tests. Testing will require measuring and adding final batch chemicals to the test sample on the lab mill.
  • Collect test results using a network of computers to generate a final test report for each batch.
  • Document Test failures by using the Nonconforming Material Report System, placed on hold and forwarded to the facility Quality Manager for final disposition.
  • Is responsible for product audits as required.

Manufacturing Quality Lab Requirements:

  • Must be detailed oriented, able to prioritize work, have good communication and interpersonal skills and able to work independently in support of shift priorities.
  • High school Diploma (Associates degree desired)
  • 2 years of laboratory testing experience desired
  • Demonstrable Microsoft Word and Excel Skills

Township Clerk-Treasurer

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Act as a key liaison between the town board, agencies, employees, and citizens.
  • Prepare for and attend all town and town board meetings (days or evenings).

FISCAL DUTIES

  • Receive and disburse town money; keep a finance book (computerized) with itemized accounts of all moneys received and disbursed; issue receipts for all funds received.
  • Issue purchase orders prior to purchase; prepare vouchers and checks for bills to be signed.
  • Manage payroll & payroll reporting, personnel issues, retirement, insurance.
  • Assist in preparation of the town budget & annual financial statement; maintain record of expenditures versus budget, presenting a monthly financial report.
  • Perform the duties relating to taxation; give notice of property tax revenue and portions.
  • Review assessment roll for errors, prepare tax roll, prepare & mail tax bills, collect first installment, issue tax receipts.
  • Make records available for a financial audit at least once every year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Associate degree in business, human resources, or accounting OR comparable work experience in one of these areas is required.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and reliable vehicle. Must be bondable.
  • Experience: Three to five years of experience in financial management, budget preparation, accounting, personnel, or administration.
  • Working knowledge of government budgeting, finance, public relations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and QuickBooks required.
  • Complete training to become a Certified Municipal Clerk and Treasurer within the first five years of employment
  • Able to be bonded and a notary public (subject to background check)

Position Functions:

  • Ability to setup and operate industrial glue line (oven system) including loading large scale wood/laminate materials.
  • Responsible for quality control and inspection of materials produced by this function.

  • Responsible for minor maintenance of equipment as needed.
  • The job is working with messy adhesive and next to a hot oven.

This position supports manufacturing operations to provide real-time technical assistance for the Compounding department.

Chemistry Lab Technician Job Duties:

  • Determine compound acceptance based on analytical tests using equipment such as rheometers and tensometers and provide real-time feedback to the mixing team.
  • Document test failures using the NCR process.  Work with team and department manager to troubleshoot root cause of failure and determine final disposition.
  • Complete test reports and enter data as required by manager.
  • Assist Engineers with material test data and maintaining records to support New Product Launch and Process Improvement Projects.
  • Perform daily titrations and changeover solutions to support ongoing R&D immersion testing.

Chemistry Lab Technician Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (Associates degree a plus)
  • 1-2 years of laboratory testing experience desired
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with co-workers at all levels and functions.
