Material Handler

Material Handler Primary Duties:

  • Moving materials around the facility from one department to another.
  • Emptying facility garbage.
  • Driving sit down fork lift, stand up fork lift and motorized pallet jack.
  • Assisting in other departments for assembly as needed.

Material Handler Position Requirements:

  • This is an entry level position, willing to train
  • Manufacturing experience helpful
  • Requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • This person will be required to lift materials weighing between 1 and 80 pounds
  • Individual will be required to have sufficient arm strength and manual dexterity in both hands to repetitively attach fasteners, operate various pneumatic tools, apply labels, and operate hand held propane torch

Quality Technician

Quality Tech Job Description:

  • Responsible for performing measurements and testing of incoming and in-process materials
  • Responsible for all functional testing
  • Maintains accurate and organized quality records
  • Release incoming materials using internal ERP system

Quality Tech Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Basic math and excellent communication skills
  • PC Proficiency
  • Ability to analyze/interpret blueprints
  • Must be able to use inspection instruments and gauging to maintain proper SPC records including a CMM Machine

Candidate must be able to train on days for up to 30 days for this 2nd/3rd shift position

 

 

Industrial Sewing

  • Performing made-to-order industrial sewing operations (flatbed) on vinyl, canvas, and nylon per Team Lead instructions
  • Perform self-inspection on his/her work, and inspect work from upstream operations

Industrial Sewing Position Requirements:

  • This could be an entry level position though previous sewing experience is preferred
  • Requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • This person will be required to lift materials weighing between 1 and 30 pounds.
  • Individual will be required to have upper body strength necessary to repeatedly manipulate materials around their machine.
  • Position requires sufficient grip strength to manipulate various materials.

Wood Furniture Mill Assembly

  • Use nail guns, staple guns, clamps, adhesives and drills, to assemble various wood pieces to build furniture bases.
  • Work will be done in the mill department

Wood Furniture Assembly Job Requirements:

  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Preference given to candidates with prior woodworking experience.

Welders

Welder Job Description:

  • Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
    Welding, MIG, semi-automatic machine; hand and heat straightening of shafts.
    • Cut, contour, and bevel metal plates and structural shapes to dimensions as specified by blueprints, layouts, work orders, and templates, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knives.
    • Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
    • Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.
    • Check grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments.
    • Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
    • Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.

Welder Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must have prior automated welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

2nd shift is 4 pm – 2 am Monday -Thursday

 

 

Assembly

Assembly Job Duties:

  • Use various machines and hand tools to assemble, test and, finish electrical or mechanical assemblies.
  • Conduct visual examination of products, components and subassemblies for defects.
  • Observe manufacturing equipment during operation to detect machinery malfunctions.
  • Communicate workflow and other key information to oncoming or relief operator at shift overlaps and shift changes to minimize delays.
  • Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Properly identify, label, and process production scrap and or rework produced during the workday.

Assembly Job Requirements:

  • No previous manufacturing experience required
  • Basic computer skills, mathematics, reading and writing skills
  • Have good manual dexterity and excellent visual acuity
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
