Wood Furniture Mill Assembly

Wood Furniture Assembly Job Description:

  • Use nail guns, staple guns, clamps, adhesives and drills, to assemble various wood pieces to build furniture bases.
  • Work will be done in the mill department

Wood Furniture Assembly Job Requirements:

  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Preference given to candidates with prior woodworking experience.
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Ability to lift furniture pieces

Welders

Welder Job Description:

  • Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
    Welding, MIG, semi-automatic machine; hand and heat straightening of shafts.
    • Cut, contour, and bevel metal plates and structural shapes to dimensions as specified by blueprints, layouts, work orders, and templates, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knives.
    • Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
    • Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.
    • Check grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments.
    • Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
    • Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.

Welder Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must have prior automated welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

2nd shift is 4 pm – 2 am Monday -Thursday

 

 

Assembly

  • Assist with assembly of automotive parts.
  • Install slip yoke, u-joints and snap rings.
  • Grease all moving parts and add components by installing or mounting bolts.

  • Prepare and gather components/materials for assembly.
  • Assist in the setup and jigging of assemblies on the table per design drawings.
  • Assemble roof and floor trusses and wall panels using power and hand tools.

Assembly Job Requirements:

  • Experience with pneumatic and hand tools.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and walk/stand for 8–10-hour( 2nd shift is Monday – Thursday)  shift and have basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.

  • Conduct visual examination of products, components and subassemblies for defects.
  • Observe manufacturing equipment during operation to detect machinery malfunctions.
  • Communicate workflow and other key information to oncoming or relief operator at shift overlaps and shift changes to minimize delays.
  • Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Properly identify, label, and process production scrap and or rework produced during the workday.

  • No previous manufacturing experience required
  • Basic computer skills, mathematics, reading and writing skills
  • Have good manual dexterity and excellent visual acuity

  • Assemble and prepare sub-assemblies of fabricated parts and equipment working from blueprints or product specifications using standard hand and power tools.
  • Test and calibrate completed units to ensure parts and mechanisms meet product specifications.
  • Perform final inspection on assembled and tested equipment.
  • May rebuild and repair customer con rods.

Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

  • Troubleshoot, maintain and install Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic systems to provide the maximum uptime possible.
  • Respond to work orders, troubleshoot equipment, and identify manpower, parts and tools to complete repairs.

Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector Job Description: 

  1. Read geometric dimensions and tolerance characteristics and symbols
  2. Ability to read blueprints and interpret complex 2D drawings, and compare work pieces against one another to assess variations
  3. Able to locate reference points on parts and measure dimension such as angles, arc, and radii, using combination of measurement tools.
  4. New products, products produced with new tooling, tooling repair, perform first piece layouts and report findings on layouts.
  5. Performs complete layout inspections by measuring dimensions, such as length, height, and distance between reference points. Using precision instruments, micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, optical comparator and CMM to ensure product meets specifications.
  6. Perform daily quality first piece, frequency, & final piece inspection for production runs.
  7. Oversee company calibration program, perform Gage R/R and annual calibration requirements
  8. Deliver training to inspectors/ operators and other production personnel.

Quality Inspector Job Requirements: 

  1. High School diploma or equivalent GED – FDA / ISO 13485 or ISO-9001 experience preferred.
  2. Ability to use quality tools and equipment including calipers, micrometer, depth micrometer, indicators, gage pins, gage blocks, height and pin gages, coordinate measurement machine (CMM) or precision optical equipment
  3. Five years relevant work experience in inspection and measurement in a FDA / ISO 13485 medical manufacturing environment preferred. Will consider ISO-9001 environment.

** 6 am – 6 pm and 6 pm – 6 am    3 days on/4 off/4 on/3 off (work every other weekend)**
