Wood CNC Operator

Wood CNC Operator Job Description:

  • Studies drawings & specifications to determine setup & tooling requirements.
  • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
  • Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed and depth of cut, according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required.
  • Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.

Wood CNC Operator Job Requirements:

  • CNC experience preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Must possess strong basic math skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • Develop, maintain, execute and improve Quality Management System, including Document Control
  • Collect and record inspection/various process data into databases
  • Support the decision on the usability of damaged materials

Food Service

We are looking for a Food Service Manager and a Cook for an East Troy summer camp.

Training starts June 11th with camps running through August 4th.

Full and part time hours are available to staff the three meal shifts starting on Sunday night and running through Friday night.  Shifts start at 6 am and will end by 8 pm.

Preference given to candidates with prior food service experience

Food Service Manager Responsibilities: 

The position must be able to supervise kitchen staff; must be able to provide meals on time, at the right temperature, in adequate quantity, and within budget; must ensure kitchen is clean; plan menus and order food; must make sure all special diets are accommodated.
Plans healthy menus and orders food within budget.

  • Works with kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared on time, served at the correct temperature, and in adequate quantity.
  • Works with Assistant Camp Director to coordinate program-specific food needs.
  • Oversees kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Arranges schedules of kitchen staff.
  • Teaches and monitors proper use of equipment.
  • Conducts initial and end of season inventory, and stores equipment for safety.

Food Service Cook Responsibilities: 

  • Assists in checking food delivery against food order
  • Assists in estimating needs, ordering, receiving, and storing of food and supplies.
  • In seasonal operation, clean and prepare food service areas for use.
  • Close kitchen down for off season.
  • Assists in seeing that kitchen, dining hall and food storage areas meet state and local health laws in such areas as dish washing, care of leftover food, insect control and fire safety.
  • Prepares and serves meals with the help of the kitchen staff

  • Read specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts required.
  • Observe machine operation and verify conformance of work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and go-no-go gauges.

Digital Pre-press Technician Job Description:

  • Produces effective collateral projects and in project reviews, preparing print ready artwork, and becoming proficient in new software programs and versions as needed.
  • Lay out jobs for printing using a variety of graphics software applications to work with technical layout and design components.
  • Verify copy, install fonts on electronically submitted copy for multi-spot color or four-color process jobs.
  • Prepares sheet layouts and cut files upon request of customers.
  • Assists the Press room as needed on jobs and maintains the pre-press area by performing color corrections to specific standards to produce quality printed pieces.

Digital Pre-press Technician Job Requirements: 

  • Requires at least two years of experience is required using a computer to manipulate digital files is required.
  • The ability to work with various graphic design and layout software applications commonly used on Mac’s and PC’s is required.
  • Proficiency in all Adobe Creative Suite software packages and Microsoft Word on a Mac Computer is required. A thorough understanding of digital file formats (pdf, tiff, eps) from different operating systems (Mac and PC) is required. Past experience E-Pace data software is a benefit.
  • Color management skills and the ability to work with different digital file formats are required.
  • An understanding of the basic digital print process is required.

Pre-Press Production Artist

Pre-Press Production Artist Position Duties:

  • Electronically prepares print layout files, ensuring press ready artwork meets customer expectations.
  • Set up cut files
  • Perform pre-flight on new customer supplied files to ensure the accuracy, completeness and resolutions of documents for printable artwork.
  • Understand the Pace Job Jacket and be able to verify the completeness and accuracy of information as compared to the existing or new artwork provided for each job.
  • Set up press layouts per job requirements verifying content and color.
  • Assist the Creative department with design work as requested.

Pre-Press Production Artist Position Requirements:

  • Collegiate degree is preferred. A minimum of 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Strong computer knowledge is required, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must have experience in/or the ability to learn to use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Ability to learn the company’s Pace ERP system for all required processes is mandatory.
  • Must be capable of using the company’s LAN resources and FTP site along with other forms of media including, but not limited to, email, CD/DVD and a customer’s FTP site.
