MIG and flux core welding, Operate press brake, drills, grinders, cutting shaping and welding.

Light to medium gauge steel. Build a variety of metal assemblies and sub-assemblies. Move materials using forklifts and cranes.

$20-$24hr.

Burning table Plasma/oxy fuel operator/programmer. Need to have experience with making drawings both on the control and computer.  Need to have crane experience with loading plates on and off the table.  Experience with a 36 material ranging from gauge to 5” thick, need to have good math skills

A growing fabrication shop  is hiring a Class A Fitter/Welder   This company manufactures industrial furnaces, metal tanks, mining and conveyor equipment.

 

General Description:
• Fabricating and fluxcore welding of steel plate (1/4” and above) in position,
overhead and vertical ups, in a job shop environment building electric overhead
traveling bridge cranes.
• It is the duty of each employee at Superior Crane to know the safety rules and
conduct his/her work in compliance with these rules.
Work Experience/Requirements:
• Five to ten years of steel plate (1/4” or above) and structural MIG welding,
fluxcore preferred.
• Five to ten years of steel fabrication preferably in the crane industry.
• Able to weld in position, overhead and vertical ups.
• Knowledge of welding machine settings, wire feeds, other welding equipment
and shielding gas requirements.
• Must be proficient in blueprint reading including welding symbols.
• Must be proficient in measuring welds with weld gauges.
• Experienced in the straightening of structural beams.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Must be able to do set-ups. Set-up VTL, 2-axis lathes and 3 axis mills.

Understand cutting tools, feeds and speeds and should be able to write and edit G-Code programs.

This will be a working set-up position and when applicant is not doing setups, they will be running the job. Must be able to work independently.

CNC Operators, with Milling  experience.

1. Looking for a CNC programmer for both Mill and Lathe.  Needs to have experience in some sort of programming software with Mastercam preferred.  Would need to have had machining experience before they became a programmer.  Person will also need to work on the floor if no work is needed in the office.  They need to understand how to fixture parts and have good knowledge of tooling.  Person will be working closely with machinists on floor so will need to have good people skills and be able to adjust on the fly to changing work conditions.  Need to understand programming and machining parts in 3D.  Most important is that the person has to have a good attitude and take the time to make the programs correct before the machinist gets it on the floor.  Pay is 22-28 per hour for a 1^st shift position normal week would be 40 hours 6-2:30 but will need to work more depending on volume of work and if something is needed for second shift.  Interviews will need to be after 2pm.

 

We are looking to hire a 2nd shift Entry level Welder/General Laborer. This is a full time permanent position. Hours are 3pm to 1130pm Monday-Friday with some mandatory overtime. This is a diverse position with general shop needs, as well as welding. Shop and welding experience is a plus. Must be able to lift 50lbs, read a tape measure, and work in a fast paced environment. Health and dental insurance, short term, long term, and life insurance, as well as 401k, paid vacation, and paid holidays all available after probationary periods. $14-$16/hour based on experience.
