Laser Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Plate Laser Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC laser cutting equipment, including bevel cutting, to produce high-quality steel parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC plate laser cutting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate cuts and bevels
  • Verify materials, thickness, and job setup prior to production
  • Load and unload steel plates using cranes or forklifts
  • Monitor cutting operations and adjust settings for quality and efficiency
  • Inspect parts and resolve issues such as dross, taper, or bevel inconsistencies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • 1–3+ years of CNC laser cutting experience (plate cutting preferred)
  • Bevel cutting experience is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with cut quality standards and inspection tools
  • Experience handling large steel plates (crane/forklift preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills

Quality Inspector- CWI

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional and layout inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, CMM, etc.)
  • Conduct structural steel, weld, and special inspections per customer and quality standards
  • Perform NDE inspections (VT, PT, MT, UT) as qualified
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and codes to ensure compliance
  • Document inspection results, nonconformances, and quality reports
  • Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and internal audits
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required
  • Minimum 2+ years of related inspection experience
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and dimensional inspections
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
  • Strong math and computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license; occasional travel may be required

Night Shift Operator

We are looking to add a Night Shift Operator to our team! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with a stable company that invests in its employees.

To ensure success, all new hires will begin on day shift for approximately 3 months for hands-on training before transitioning to night shift.


How the Role Works

  • Start on day shift at $20/hour while completing operator training
  • Transition to night shift once fully trained
  • Earn $23–$25/hour on night shift, based on skills and performance
  • Receive an additional $1/hour upon direct hire

Schedule

Day Shift (Training Period)

  • Tuesday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
  • Every other Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (8-hour shift)
  • Rotating schedule: 44 hours/week on “A” weeks, 36 hours/week on “B” weeks

Night Shift (After Training)

  • Monday–Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • Every other Thursday: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM (8-hour shift)
  • Rotating schedule: 36 hours/week on “A” weeks, 44 hours/week on “B” weeks

Skilled Machinist

We are seeking experienced Machinists with a strong background in Manual Horizontal Boring Mill operations within a job shop environment. This role requires a high level of versatility and the ability to independently manage complex machining tasks from setup to inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform highly diversified machining operations including boring, drilling, tapping, and milling on carbon steel parts
  • Select, set up, and adjust tooling; replace worn or damaged cutting tools as needed
  • Set up parts on machines or machining centers, including proper alignment and edge finding
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using micrometers (inside & outside) and calipers
  • Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings
  • Apply strong knowledge of machining principles, including speeds and feeds
  • Handle a wide range of parts, from small fabrications to large, complex weldments

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating Manual Horizontal Boring Mills in a job shop environment
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
  • Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
  • Ability to perform setups and inspections independently
  • Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts (required)

Seeking a 1st shift Production Manager to meet both short and long-term production objectives.

This leader will supervise low-high production operations in a fast-paced non-union manufacturing environment.

Lead hourly shift employees in high mix, medium volume environment to meet both short and long-term production objectives.

Responsible for conducting performance reviews, discussing attendance and recommending wage adjustments, promotions, etc.

Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to General Manager

Utilizes operational metrics and an on the floor presence approach to maintain close surveillance over the manufacturing operations to assure scheduled workflow, utilization of manpower skills, machines, tooling methods and machine repairs.

Ensures compliance with safety regulations, policies, and labor contract provisions and administers disciplinary action when necessary.

Communicates daily with appropriate managers and peer group on overall operating conditions and make recommendations to improve procedures, methods, and techniques.

Communicate regularly with direct reports to provide goals and objective of the operations.

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the production floor.

Also directly supervises approximately 25 non-supervisory employees.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Supervisory/Management experience required
• Three to Five years’ experience working in electrical assembly, preferred

Candidate will need to have multiple years working with structural steel (I-beams, Columns),

reading blueprints, fabricating/welding, as well as general shop knowledge.

This is a first shift position 6am-230pm with some mandatory overtime.

This position will pay $28-32/hour based on experience.

Experience with stairs and railings a plus.
