CNC Machinist – Direct Hire $2000 sign on bonus, up to $40/hr

CNC Machinist Job Description:

  • Setup and operate CNC lathe and mill machines to produce parts in accordance with blueprint specifications and work instructions.
  • Works with appropriate personnel in production control, engineering, inspection, supervisors and other employees to resolve job related problems such as tooling, fixtures, chucking, and program and blueprint specifications.
  • Verifies conformance of work piece to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
  • Studies manufacturing orders and organizes materials and tools for next run during automatic controlled cycles to shorten changeover time.
  • Lifts work piece manually or with hoist, and positions and secures work piece in chuck or fixture, or mounts between centers.
  • Removes burrs, sharp edges and clean parts.
  • Stamps identifying number on parts as instructed.
  • Study program, blueprints, manufacturing drawings, tool sheets and manufacturing orders to verify they are correct and fill out proper paperwork when changes are necessary.

CNC Machinist Requirements:

  • Hands-on knowledge of CNC machines, either gained on the shop floor or from a CNC degree program
  • CNC setup experience with the ability to operate in a job shop, performing several setups throughout the day
  • Complex blueprint reading.
  • Proficient tape proofing programs and related tasks such as using machine graphics to find program errors and other potential problems.
  • Proficient mounting and boring jaws, loading parts, loading fixture, loading and using tail-stock and steady rest.
  • Proficient identifying, mounting and setting offsets for all I/D and O/D tooling used.
  • Knowledge of cutting inserts and tools for turning, drilling, boring, threading, grooving and profiling.

1st (Mon-Thurs 5 am – 3 pm) and 2nd shift (Mon- Thurs 3 pm to 1 am) openings. Majority of openings on 1st shift.

Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator

Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator Job Responsibilities: 

  • Load and unload materials, supplies, equipment to/from vehicles, trailers, etc.; protect and secure loads for transport.
  • Receive and inspect and store incoming materials and restock unused materials from job sites.
  • Segregate, report and return defective materials.
  • Coordinate, implement and maintain a system for tracking and maintaining physical inventories of stored materials.
  • Requisition purchases to replenish inventories, purchase materials and supplies as directed; expedite deliveries from vendors.
  • Assemble and check orders, do packing and crating, coordinate freight arrangements when needed, and load goods and occasional delivery to job sites.
  • Maintain records corresponding to inventory, shipping, and receiving; prepare pack slips, bills of lading, etc.
  • Assist Customer Parts & Service Coordinator as needed.

Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator Job Requirements: 

  • Keep current a valid operator’s license
  • High school diploma or G.E.D., or a minimum six months working experience,

  • Must be forklift certified.

Quality Assurance Technician

Under the direction of the Manager of Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Technician performs quality assurance reviews and uniformity testing on industrial ovens.

Quality Assurance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Read technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot wiring using multimeters and amp probes.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting.
  • Perform gas, water, and air troubleshooting.
  • Perform Program Logic Control (PLC), operator interface, communication, and frequency drive programming and debugging.
  • Enter and manipulate data using MS Office software.

  • Knowledge of temperature control systems, start-up, and debugging processes

  • Epicor or ERP system knowledge
  • MS Office Software/Google Suite

  • Recommends services and/or preventive maintenance to customers on an ongoing basis.

Technical Support/Parts Sales Associate Job Requirements:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the knowledge or ability to learn the following:  Salesforce (or other CRM programs),  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Epicor (or other ERP system).
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and other subassemblies, as well as ability to read and identify components on mechanical and utility drawings/prints.
  • Effectively comprehend and respond to external and internal customer needs and requests in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use telephone, fax machine, copy machine, scanner, and computer.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Lean Office experience is a plus.
