Quality Assurance Supervisor Job Description:
Develop procedures and supervise quality assurance activities and up to 7 personnel on three shifts to ensure department procedures are conducted in an effective and timely manner.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain product / packaging specification sheets, labels, and samples. Develop and implement inspection techniques and schedules to maintain specifications.
 - Develop, implement, and maintain computer and other quality assurance record systems and procedures. Coordinate documentation and additions, corrections, or deletions to computer records of the product line.
 - Coordinate activities with Sales, Production, and Tooling to identify and resolve quality problems.
 - Make decisions on product placed on hold and/or rejected and administer system to ensure records and finished product inventory are accurate.
 - Conduct special tests and prepare samples for customer and/or product development activities to check if customer specifications can be met.
 - Investigate and process finished product returns to ensure inventory and customer billing records are accurate, and customer complaints are resolved.
 - Plan and coordinate training of new employees in the Quality Assurance department.
 - Responsible for abiding by employment laws and regulations, equal employment efforts and results in their area of authority.
 - Ensure compliance with all safety rules and programs established for the Company and Quality Assurance area.
 
Quality Assurance Supervisor Job Requirements:
- Three years of experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector.
 - One year supervisory experience or equivalent.
 - Excellent basic math skills and ability to use test equipment.
 - Excellent computer, organization, verbal and written communication skills.
 - Ability to communicate with all levels of individuals both inside and outside the Company.
 - Demonstration of reliability, dependability, above average performance, working independently, and positive work attitude.
