Finish Operator

Finish Operator Position Description:

The Finish Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating finishing equipment, including straightener, saw and furnace while achieving targeted results in safety, output and quality.

  • Use measuring equipment, including micrometers and tape measures
  • Perform pickle and passivate operations
  • Ensure proper Alkaline cleaning of product, including blowing of plugs
  • Set up and operate pointers

Swiss CNC Set-Up/Programmer

The Swiss Lathe Machinist will set up, operate, perform off sets, touch off tools and possibly edit CNC programs.

CNC Set-up/Programmer Requirements:

  • Direct experience programming on Swiss CNC  screw machines.
  • Experienced in Fanuc Controls. Excellent working knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T a must.
  • Ability to perform and understand maintenance schedules on all machines.
  • Ability to coordinate with required vendors to ensure proper supplies and tools are in stock and ready for upcoming jobs.
  • They should be able to work from written or verbal instructions, detailed engineering drawings and 3D models. Knowledge of setting collets, guide bushings, tool holders and cutting tools is needed.
  • Knowledge of setting up and operating Swiss CNC lathes such as Tsugami Star, Citizen Swiss screw machines.

 

Thermoforming Set-up Tech

Thermoforming Set-up Tech Job Description:

  • Remove tooling from machines and install tooling in machines.
  • Make mechanical and computer-controlled adjustments to machines to get jobs ready to run in production.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs as needed to tooling to get jobs ready to run in production.
  • Operate, adjust, and repair machinery as needed to meet quality requirements and production goals.
  • Assist Machine Operators and Packers as needed to solve product quality and process problems.
  • Provide setup related documentation to the Shift Supervisor as needed for inventory and job reporting.
  • Visual and functional inspection of a part while machines are running and a comparison to the drawing, specifications, and signed sample and quality requirements for each production run

Thermoforming Set-up Tech Job Description:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment to include machine operation, setup, or repair.
  • Ability to learn the mechanical functions of equipment and machinery, and tooling handling, installation, and removal procedures.
  • Ability to learn tooling components and how tooling is involved in the thermoforming process.
  • Ability to learn the thermoforming process, various product quality requirements, and demonstrate the ability to recognize quality problems and take corrective action

The project manager position performs as part of the customer service team, covering specific states and effectively handling assigned territory’s accounts and projects. This requires the complete understanding of product, sales structure, as well as comprehensive knowledge of quote preparation and order processing. The project managers function as a team, performing quote checking for one another, taking turns answering incoming department calls and working with other departments throughout the company to fulfill the common goal of achieving complete customer satisfaction.

Project Manager/Customer Service Job Description:

  • Answer and handle incoming department’s phone calls.
  • Constantly monitor emails and respond to all requests in a timely manner, providing quotes and processing orders as immediately as possible, striving for within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Prepare complex, comprehensive, detailed quotes via SAP; prepare GIZA system drawings when applicable; thoroughly research product and fabric specifications; acquire project name, scope of project, budgetary expectations and timing; gather all pertinent details, ask questions, provide options.
  • Provide quotes via professional emails in standardized department’s format that includes SAP-prepared quote that has been proofed and signed off by another teammate, any applicable drawings, cut sheets of all specified product, any combo fabric placement forms that would be required at the time of ordering, lifetime warranty and sustainability overview documents, any associated contract summaries and/or applicable contract information sheets.
  • Follow up on inactive open quotes via email on a monthly basis, making sure appropriate outside sales reps are kept apprise on any and all activity.
  • Order processing includes working up fabric information, determining best method of transport, calculating freight and directly corresponding with customer to ensure that items are produced properly in a timely manner being aware and vigilant of customers’ need-by dates.
  • Create system drawings via GIZA as needed for Assembly.

Project Manager/Customer Service Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must have prior customer service experience, preferably in a production environment.
  • Microsoft Office programs proficiency
  • Preference given to candidates with project management experience.

  • Inspects processed parts from internal departments and outside processors for compliance to print specifications.
  • Selects proper job folder with current print inspection reports, measuring guidelines and list of measuring equipment.
  • Pulls appropriate sample size as indicated by the sampling plan for each specific job and characteristic to be inspected.
  • Measures parts per inspection plans and documents results as required.

Maintenance Mechanic – Building Services

The majority of the work done by the mechanic relates to repairs, maintenance and operation of HVAC and Building Automation Systems, having responsibilities for purchasing some equipment, assembly of furniture and use of large snow removal equipment as outlined below. The position will be required to be on-call on a rotating schedule to assist with emergencies. The mechanic engages in a high degree of customer service.

Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities:

  •  Operate and perform minor maintenance on boilers and chillers, air handlers and similar energy utilizing equipment so as to maximize energy efficiency.
  • Schedule, operate and monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) to meet college expectations for indoor air quality and energy efficiency.
  • Use BAS to identify and troubleshoot problems and to optimize building performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems so as to maximize reliability.
  • Respond to maintenance requests both scheduled and non-scheduled or emergency
  • Perform routine, periodic inspection and testing of building life-safety systems including fire
    alarms, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers.

Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements:

  • Associate Degree and two years recent work experience in any combination of HVAC and
    facilities maintenance with an emphasis in energy management and operation of building
    automation systems OR Seven years recent work experience in any combination of HVAC and facilities maintenance with an emphasis in energy management and operation of building automation systems.
  • Experience or course work operating, maintaining, troubleshooting or repairing:
