Wire Weaver Job Description:

• Weave operators will set up, program and run custom equipment to manufacture woven wire mesh.
• Operators work with metal wire by measuring and feeding wire into the looms to make precise woven patterns per customers’ specifications.
• All operators are trained to set up their own equipment as well as run production orders on their machines

Wire Weaver Job Requirements:

• Attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and able to read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours a day.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and part layouts/prints.
• Experience in a production setting in the steel industry is beneficial.

Shipping Job Description:

• Ensure that customer orders ship on time basis by prioritizing work load utilizing information from the Traffic Specialist, Management and computer schedule.
• Check customer packaging requirements as stated on the Job Sheet and prepare all finished goods for shipment by banding skids, building hats and/or boxes etc.
• Enter all shipping information on the Shipping Log accurately and efficiently. Also record shipments via photos.
• Route all incoming items to the appropriate staff and submit packing lists when applicable to accounting in a timely manner.
• Ensure the company has a sufficient inventory of skids and shipping supplies.
• Keep shipping and dock areas clean.
• Deliver and/or pick up items from local companies in a timely manner when assigned by Management.
• Provide consistent communication to the Traffic and Accounting Specialist regarding shipping schedule and special requirements.
• May also assist with inquires from the Production Supervisors and Leads to ensure that packaging procedures are understood and completed correctly (i.e. number of pieces/ skid, number of skids/size etc.)
• Complete bills of lading and packing slips for returns. Act as back-up to the Inventory Specialist.

Shipping Candidate Requirements:

• Ability to operate a forklift and use basic shop hand tools is required.
• Basic computer skills are required including MS Windows, MS Word, internet, DBASE and email.
• Must be self motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and able to read, write and speak English. Accurate communication skills are essential.

An active, fast pace position filling and processing orders for shipping. Products are Light to medium weight. Must be physically fit, able to stand, walk and move  throughout the entire shift.  Some lifting involved.

Shipping Job Description:

• Pick orders for shipping. Scan for accuracy, pack and  and fill boxes or cartons products to be shipped, process and label the order for shipping. Sort boxes according to the correct carrier.
• Prepare and print shipping labels according to customer requests.
• Affix proper label on each package for shipping
• Process orders based on the buyer’s preferred shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
• Assist in Unloading trucks with incoming freight.
• Maintain a clean  work area.
• Stock shelves and prepare the shipping area for the daily routine,
• Print daily shipping reports and review for accuracy
• Communicate with office when needed for questions on orders, address verification.
• Contact carrier for scheduled pickups.

Shipping Job Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 1+ years’ experience in shipping or warehouse setting
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to work  in a team and able to adapt to changes in daily routines.
• Capable of working a consistent schedule  of 10 hour day starting at 6AM
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Mon-Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM occasional Friday as needed.

Shipping Job Description:

• Pack, seal, label, to prepare furniture for shipping, using hand tools, and other shipping materials.
• Load trucks by hand and with a forklift.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Drive box truck to warehouse location

Shipping Position Requirements:

• Candidate must have prior forklift experience.
• Must be able to lift and push large pieces of furniture.
• This is a 6-4:30 Monday – Thursday work week

Warehouse Job Description:

• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
  • Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
  • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

Warehouse Job Requirements:

• Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25-30 pounds on a regular basis.

 

Will operate injection molding machines and secondary lathes, grinders, punch and drill presses.

Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, ability to read and understand written instructions. Basic math skills.

Candidate must be able to permanently work a Friday/Saturday/Sunday schedule. Will be paid for 40 hours, though working only 36 hours.
