Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines.
  • Sew and assemble various components of fabric air diffusers according to engineering specifications and work orders.
  • Read and interpret production blueprints, patterns, and diagrams.
  • Measure, cut, and align fabric materials accurately using provided tools and templates.

Manufacturing Lab Technicians

Lab Technician Job Responsibilities:

  • Measure, weigh up color formula’s materials to meet customer specifications.
  • Mix batch in jars on shakers, and produce color chips using injection molding machines for sample submission and for each lot of colorant manufactured to ensure quality control.
  • During production process, match customer color submissions as accurately as possible using lab equipment and guidance from more experienced technicians assigned to Quality.
  • May be trained to run the Mill, or bottle machine to produce color sheets, or bottles for sample submission

Lab Technician Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years prior experience in a lab environment preferred and plastics industry experience highly desirable.
  •  Ability to see color accurately.
  • Strong number perception, basic math and measurement skills, positive attitude, enthusiasm, and good verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate will lift 5 to 20 lbs. frequently, 20-40 lbs. occasionally, and more than 40 lbs. with assistance if required.
  • Frequent work with lab equipment (weigh scales, spectrophotometer, etc.), and molding machinery.

Stainless Steel Polisher Job Responsibilities: 

  • Polish and finish stainless steel parts and fittings to specified surface finishes using grinding, sanding, and buffing tools.
  • Visually inspect parts for welds, pits, scratches, scale, and other surface imperfections.
  • Remove flaws to meet cosmetic and functional standards, blending surfaces as needed.
  • Use appropriate polishing compounds and techniques depending on the material and finish specifications such as ASME BPE, SF1, SF3, SF4,
  • Follow work orders, blueprints, and instructions to achieve proper finish.
  • Maintain and care for polishing equipment, ensuring safe operation and cleanliness of work area.
  • Track and report work performed and time spent on jobs using a computer.
  • Work closely with fabricators, welders, and quality control to ensure standards are met.

Stainless Steel Polisher Job Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in metal finishing or polishing, preferably with stainless steel.
  • Familiarity with various polishing tools and abrasives.
  • Ability to visually detect and assess surface defects.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a plus
    Desired skills:
  • Understanding of sanitary or pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel finishing standards.
  • Experience with TIG weld seam blending.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements related to polishing and grinding.

Material Handler

Material Handler Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stockroom Management:
    • Receive, organize, and store finished goods in designated stockroom locations.

Weld Mill Operator

  • Safely operates, sets up and adjusts all tube welding mills.
  • Make periodic inspection checks to determine type of adjustments.
  • Completes destructive and nondestructive tube quality checks as required and necessary.

  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations without difficulty or additional assistance.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong general mechanical skills.

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to moderate noise intensity
  • May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA permissible exposure levels)
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.
