Fabrication Lead Job Description:
- Performs work in all work centers within the Fabrication Department.
- Facilitates all operations through efficient job sheet review
- Performing welding, burning, shearing, bending and laser operations and inspections
- Communication and assigning employees to jobs to be completed.
- Make sure employees have safe practices and are productive and following company policies.
Fabrication Lead Job Requirements:
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Ability to operate a forklift and use basic shop hand tools, micrometers and calipers is required.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide and read a tape measure with a high level of accuracy.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and able to read, write and speak English. Accurate communication skills are critical.
- The employee must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- The employee must also be able to: reach, stoop, bend, climb stairs/ladders, pull, carry, walk and stand for extended periods of time. Eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity are required. The employee must also be able to tolerate extreme temperatures.
