The press operator is responsible for operating mechanical and hydraulic stamping press equipment ranging from 95 Ton to 1000 Ton to produce high quality parts and meet demand.
Essential Job Functions:
- Load and unload metal material into press bed
- Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops
- Evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection
- Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing and counts
- Keep accurate part and scrap counts, record on data collection system at end of job or shift
1st shift hours: 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday with overtime as required and on Saturdays)
