Fitter Welders, up to $29/HR.

January 20, 2026 by muskego

Are you tired of your metal friends? Do you speak fluent blueprint? Can you make two things stick together permanently with just fire and a prayer? Then welcome to the coolest, hottest, most structurally important job you’ll ever love (and occasionally hate)!
What You’ll Actually Do (But Funnier):
  • Read Blueprints: Decode cryptic squiggles and lines that look like a toddler’s art project to figure out where giant metal bits go.
  • Measure Twice, Cut Once (or Just Wing It): Precisely align pipes and plates, hoping your math doesn’t betray you.
  • Wrangle Metal: Convince stubborn steel beams and pipes to join forces using intense heat and strategic hammering. We hardwire and/or metalcore weld.
  • Be a Leak Detective: Find tiny holes in systems that could otherwise flood the entire facility, saving the day one weld at a time.
  • Tool Whisperer: Keep your grinder, torch, and helmet in top shape, because they’re your best (and only) friends.
Who You Are:
  • A wizard with a torch, a sculptor with a grinder, and a therapist for stubborn metal.
  • Someone who understands that “good enough” means “won’t explode tomorrow”.
  • You enjoy the smell of ozone and burnt flux more than flowers.
  • You can explain what you do in under 30 seconds, but nobody really gets it (and that’s okay).
Perks:
  • Cool gear (literally and figuratively).
  • The satisfaction of building things with your own two hands (and a very hot stick).
  • A high-five for every successful weld (or maybe just a nod).

Immediate openings on 1st or 2nd shift!

1st shift 6am-2pm M-F

2nd shift 1pm-11 pm M-Th
