Sheet Metal Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Performs cutting and shaping operations on a variety of steel materials.
- Read technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.
- Set up, fit, and position weldments, having a number of parts.
- Participate in cross functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality problems, and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods.
Sheet Metal Operator Job Requirements:
- High School Degree or equivalent required; three to five years of related experience preferred but not necessary
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Ability to read tape measures, basic math
