CNC Machinist/Set-up Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery and make advanced adjustments to ensure precise production.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs, tooling, fixturing, and setup procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex CNC machine issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Perform part inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
- Train and assist CNC operators with setups, troubleshooting, and adherence to quality and production processes.
- Document production data, setups, inspections, and machine performance in ERP systems and maintain accurate records.
CNC Machinist/Set-up Requirements:
- 3+ years of machinist experience with lathes or mills, including 1+ year of set-up experience
- Ability to interpret blueprints and understand GD&T and G&M codes
- Compliance with safety regulations and proficient use of measuring instruments
