Stainless Steel Fabricator Job Responsibilities:
- Cut stainless steel tubing to precise lengths using saws and other cutting tools.
- Belt sand parts to achieve smooth finishes and meet project specifications.
- Operate a manual mill to machine stainless steel components accurately.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to execute tasks efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Perform basic machining tasks, including drilling, tapping, and deburring.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet dimensional and visual requirements.
- Assist with the assembly of fabricated components when required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
Stainless Steel Fabricator Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication or a related field.
- Proficiency in using tools such as saws, belt sanders, manual mills, and measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Basic understanding of machining processes is preferred.
- Physical ability to handle stainless steel materials and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
