Purchasing Job Duties:
- Enter purchase orders for raw material, maintenance and supplies
- Work with vendors and suppliers on the availability of raw materials as well as status of purchase.
- Communicate with production regarding needs for upcoming orders and deliveries of products.
- Receive all purchase orders for bulk tankers and update ERP on price changes and inventory for batch tickets.
- Complete invoice reconciliation with the Finance Department.
Customer Service Duties
- At the reception desk greet guest and act as a back-up for inbound phone calls.
- Receive and answer correspondence pertaining to COD orders and other orders. Keep revisions updates: location changes ship dates, quantities, etc.
- Coordinate shipping dates and order confirmations with customer
Purchasing Assistant/Customer Service Requirements:
- Two years of customer service experience is required. Freight experience helpful
- Excellent organizational skills, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of ERP and CRM programs
